Microsoft Word Shortcuts: Ctrl + H

Ctrl + H keyboard shortcut stands for Replacing text in a word file. It is very much connected to Ctrl + F: the keyboard shortcut for Find text.  Because without Finding a text you can’t replace it.

This lesson contain a short story with some British words and their American equivalents. 

Make use of Find and Replace feature by entering the British words in Find What box.Then Replace it with the American equivalents using Replace with box.

The story is repeated in both British and American words for those people don't know the British words and their American equivalents. 

Select the text and press Ctrl + [ to apply decrease font size by one point command while you are in Word

Story Contain the British words:

"While I go from my office to the flat, I used to fill petrol in my car. 

Next to the petrol station there was a department store. Their Cloth prices were very competitive. Once my sister visited me, she bought few tights and jumpers from there.

We used to take a wooden pavement to the store those days. We really enjoyed it.

There was a football ground too. I watched several matches there during the weekends. I remember while I was watching a match, I got penalty for throwing paper crumple into the ground instead of using dustbin".  

Story  with the American Words:
